RESOLUTION NO. 83R-466

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 78R-769 AND
ADOPTING A NEW FEE SCHEDULE FOR PLAN CHECKING
SERVICES PURSUANT TO THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE.
WHEREAS, Section 15.04.304 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
requires the payment of fees to the City of Anaheim for building
permits, inspection and plan-checking in such amounts as deter-
mined and established by resolution of the City Council~ and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore adopted resolu-
tions establishing and, from time to time, amending said schedule
of fees and service charges~ and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to further amend said
schedules of fees and service charges in the manner hereinafter
set forth~ and
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter established do not exceed
the estimated reasonable cost of providing the service for which
the fee is charged~ and
WHEREAS, prior to approving said fees, the City Council
has held at least one public meeting at which oral or written
presentations could be made concerning said proposed fees as part
of a regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council~ and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore complied with
the applicable requirements of Chapter 13 of Part 1 of Division 2
of Title 5 of the Government Code of the State of California con-
cerning local agency service fees and charges.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the schedule of fees and service charges
heretofore adopted by Resolution No. 78R-769 be, and the same is
hereby, amended by a revision of Paragraph (b) thereof entitled
"Plan-Checking Fees" to read as follows:
"(b) Plan-Checking Fees: When the valuation of
the proposed construction exceeds $1,000.00 and a plan
is required to be submitted by Subsection (b) of Section
302 of the Building Code, a plan-checking fee equal to
the following specified percentage of the Building
Permit Fee shall be paid to the Building Official at the
time of submitting plans and specifications for checking:
Residential plan-checking:
80% of Building
Permit Fee
Non-residential plan-checking:
65% of Building
Permit Fee

Where plans are incomplete or changed so as
to require additional plan-checking, an additional
plan-check fee shall be charged at a rate established by
the Building Official."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as expressly amended
herein, said Resolution No. 78R-769 shall be and remain in full
force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6 h day of December, 1983.
