RESOLUTION NO. 83R-469
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 177, EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of October, 1983, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider amending the Land Use Element of the
Anaheim General Plan by changing the land use designation for an
area of land consisting of approximately 6.4 acres located
immediately south of Lincoln Avenue and west of the Santa Ana
River; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC83-193 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and denying said Amendment to the General Plan
designated as Amendment No. 177; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 6th day of
December, 1983, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 177 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 177 changing the land use designation in the
aforedescribed area to "Low-Medium Density Residential" in
accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the City should be
approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 177 to the General Plan
amending the Land Use Element of the Anaheim General Plan by
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to
"Low-Medium Density Residential" in accordance with Exhibit "A" on
file with the City be, and the same is hereby, approved.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the Land Use Element of
Anaheim General Plan to conform to General Plan Amendment No.
