A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL
PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 186, EXHIBIT
"B. "
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recommend-
ations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, adopted a
General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of October, 1983, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public hear-
ing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan Amendment
does consider the following amendments to the Circulation Element of
the Anaheim General Plan:
A. Realignments of Weir Canyon Road, Serrano Avenue and Monte
Vista Road;
B. Deletion of El Rancho Road as a Hillside Secondary Arterial
Highway;
C. Inclusion of the Eastern Transportation Corridor Study
Area; and
D. Renaming a major portion of Monte Vista Road to Oak Hills
Drive; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC83-l92 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said
hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General Plan
designated as Amendment No. 186 be adopted by the City Council
amending the Circulation Element of the Anaheim General Plan in the
manner therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City Planning
Commission, the City Council did fix the 6th day of December, 1983,
as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the Civic Center as the
place for a public hearing on said proposed Amendment No. 186 and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an op-
portunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and did
consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 186 amending the Circulation Element of the Anaheim
General Plan in accordance with Exhibit "B" on file with the City
should be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 186 to the Circulation
Element of the Anaheim General Plan amending the Circulation
Element of the Anaheim General Plan in accordance with Exhibit "B"
on file with the City be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the Circulation Element of
the Anaheim General Plan to conform to General Plan Amendment No.
186, Exhibit "B," as herein adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th day of December, 1983.
