RESOLUTION NO. 83R-477
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT AS
A COUNTY HIGHWAY OF PORTIONS OF CERTAIN
HIGHWAYS LYING WITHIN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange
adopted its Resolution No. 83-1676 on November 15, 1983, declaring
those certain portions of the Glassell Street Bridge, Katella
Avenue Bridge and Lincoln Avenue Bridge lying within the City of
Anaheim to be county highways for the purpose of certain minor
improvements to said highways by the County of Orange; and
WHEREAS, said Board of Supervisors has requested the
governing body of the City of Anaheim to consent to the
establishment of the aforesaid portions of said highways lying
within the City of Anaheim to be county highways for such purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that pursuant to Section 1701 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the state of California, the City Council hereby
consents to the establishment of the aforesaid portions of
highways as county highways during the period of improvement of
said highways by the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim is hereby authorized and directed to transmit a certified
copy of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Orange.
