RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 94
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purch.sing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purwoses, to wit: An easement for road and
Fublic utili tv purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ---
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JAMES KAY and
GERTRUDE S. ~Y, husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility ~urposes
, an more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Northeast quarter
of the Northeast quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of the Northeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 14,
as shown on a Map of Tract 4230, recorded in Book 243,
pages 43 and 44 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County; thence along the westerly boundary
line of the said Northeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 14, said westerly boundary
also being the northerly prolongation of the center-
line of Grand Avenue, South 00 18' OS" East 86.00
feet to the true point of beginning; thence contin-
uing southerly along the aforementioned westerly
boundary line and centerline of Grand Avenue, South
00 18' 05" East 365.40 feet; thence North 890 41' 55"
East 32 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 32.00 feet easterly of the said centerline
of Grand Avenue; thence northerly along a line parallel
with the said centerline of Grand Avenue, North 00
18' 05" West 360.42 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave southeasterly and having a radius of
25.00 feet; thence northerly and easterly along a
portion of said curve through a central angle of
110 30' 46 i' an arc distance of 5.02 feet; thence
South 890 40' 53" West 32.50 feet to the true point
of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of February , 19 70
