A RESOLUTJON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIt! ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING. TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY fOR AN EASEMENT FOR WATER MAIN AND
METER VAULT PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purch,-sing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal pur~oses, to wit: An easement for water main
and meter vault purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same-to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ROBERT L. MAYER, a
widower
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for water
main and meter vault purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of a
water main and meter vault over, under and across that
portion of the Northwest quarter of Section 14. Town-
ship 4 South, Range 11 West, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 51, page 111 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northwest quarter
of said Section 14, said Northwest corner being the inter-
section of the centerlines of Knott Street and Lincoln
Avenue; thence North 890 41' 29" East along said centerline
of Lincoln Avenue 792.00 feet, more or less; thence South
00 141 40" East 66.00 feet to the point of intersection
with the Southerly right of way line of Lincoln Avenue,
said point of intersection being the true point of beginning;
thence North 8'90 411 29" East along said Southerly right of
way line, a distance of 20.00 feet; thence South 00 14' 40"
East 15.00 feet; thence South 890 41' 29" West 20.00 feet;
thence North 00 14' 40" West 15.00 feet to the true point
of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURfHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
