cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Anaheir:l, to
vllt. The jc..naheiE. Bulletin, on .i\pril 25th and May 2nd, 1969, a
notice invitinq sealed proposals for furnishing the following:
All labor and equipment to cut and remove all
rank growth and weeds and remove rubbish, re-
fuse and dirt upon any parcel or parcels of
real property or any public street in the City
of Anaheim, as directed by the Superintendent
of Streets f Work Order Ho. 426..297.
which said notice specified that sealed proposals would be re-
ceived up until 2.00 o'clock P.L. on the 8th day of nay, 1969;

of streets of the City of linal1ein, did open said sealed proposals
received up to that time for the furnishin9 of all labor and
equiFment 'to cut and remove said rank s'roli'!th and weeds and re-
move rubbish.. refuse and dirt, in public in the City Council
Chanilier in the City Hall, Imaheix..., California, and the Director
of Public Horks and SUiJerintendent of Streets did tabulate the
result of said sealed proposals and did m~(e a report to the
City Council at its next regular meeting; and
WHERLAS J the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
at its next regular meeting held on the l3th day of I'Jay, 1969,
at the hour of L30 olclock P.M. consider the sealed proposals
su.bmitted for furnishing the labor and materials and performing
the work hereinabove more particularly described and set forth,
and did thereupon find and deterrnine that the sealed proposal
submitted by COIilvI:i:::RCIAL LOT CLEAl'~Ii.\;GT n'iC., 2459 North Lee,
South El Uonte, California, was the lowest responsible proposal
submitted for the furnishing of all labor and equipment to cut
and remove said rank growth and weeds and remove rubbish, refuse
and dirt, as specified in tl1e notice inviting sealed propos-
als, and ulereupon accepted said bid and did award a contract
to said COM~iliRCIlili LOT CLE1iliING, I~C. for furnishing all labor
and equipment to cut and remove said rank grovlth and vieeds and
remove rubbish! refuse and dirt, which said contract was duly made
and entered into on the 2lst day of gay, 1969; and
~V-rlEREAS, the said CQI.jIYJEH.CIAL LOT CLEANING, INC. has
furnished all labor, services and equipment and has performed all
work as specified in the contract and contract documents duly made
and entered into with it by the City; and the Director of Public
Works and Superintendent of Streets has duly certified to the
completion of said work in accordance Witll said contract doc-

has completed said work hereinabove more particularly described
in accordance with the provisions of L~e contract and the con-
tract documents, and elat notice of completion should be filed

IWVJ F THEREFORL, BE II' RESOLVED by the Ci ty Counci 1 of
the City of Anaheim that all labor, services and equipment, and
the performance of all work necessary-to complet.e, in a good
and workma:rilikec mam.ner, in striot accordance with the contract
.:md"contract documents, the cutting and renbval of said rank
growth and weeds and removal of rubbish, refuse, '-and dirt here-
inabove referred to, in the City of Anaheir,1, by said'contractor,
be, and e1e same are hereby accepted, subject, nevertheless, to
all the terms, conditions and provisions of :said contract and
contract documents, and that the balance due said contractor for
said work be paid to it thirty:'-five cF351 days after final accept-
