A P~SOLqTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF N~AH~IM FINDING M~D DETERMINING THAT THE
PURCHASE, FABRICATION N~D DELIVERY OF 29
TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROLLERS IS NECESSARY FOR
VARIOUS INTERSECTIONS OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM;
APPROVI~G THE SPECIFICATIONS THEREOF; AND
DIRECTI~G THE PUBLICATION OF A NOTICE INVITING
BIDS FOR THE FUill~ISHING OF SAID TRAFFIC SIGNAL
CONTROL~ERS.

WHEREAS. the City Council does find and determine that
convenience and necessity require the purchase and acqui-
of 29 traff~c signal controllers for various intersections
City of Anaqeim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that the
specifications prepared and submitted to the City Council by
the Department of Public Works for said traffic signal controllers
are adequate for the purpose and should be approved; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
a notice should be published inviting sealed proposals for the
furnishing of said traffic signal controllers in accordance with
the specifications prepared by said Department of Public Works
and herein approved.
NOW, THaREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahei~ that said twenty-nine (29) traffic signal
controllers shall ~onform to the specifications therefor pre-
pared by the Depar~ment of Public Works of the City of Anaheim
and hereby approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there shall be purchased
for the City of An4heim twenty-nine (29) traffic signal con-
trollers as specif~ed in the plans and specifications on file
in the Office of tqe City Clerk or City Engineer.
AND BE ~T FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice in the
Anaheim Bulletin, ~n the manner and form as required by law in-
viting sealed prop~sals for the furnishing of said traffic signal
controllers, and d~recting that said sealed proposals will be
received at the Of:aice of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim
up to the hour of 2:00 P.M. on the 5th day of March, 1970.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 10th day of Fabruary, 1970.
