A RESOLU~ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF N~AHE~M EFFECTING CERTAIN ORGANIZATIONAL
CHANGES WITHIN THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE,
UTILITIES DEPARTMENT AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT
OF THE C[TY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREA8"pursuant to Section 702 of the Charter of the
City of Anaheim, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is in the best interests of the City that certain
organizational changes be effected within the City Manager's
Office, Utilities Department, and Finance Department of the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that
(1) the Customer Service Division be removed from
the Fina*ce Department and placed under the jurisdic-
tion of the utilities Department of the City of
Anaheim;
(2) the Administrative Research Section and Data
Processirtg Section be removed from the City Manager's
Office and placed under the jurisdiction of the
Finance Department of the City of Anaheim; and
(3) the title of the Finance Department be changed
to Depar~ment of Systems and Research; and headed
by the Director of Systems and Research who shall
also serve as the Director of Finance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions hereof
shall take effect ~mmediately.
THE FOREqOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of Feijruary, 1970.
