RESOLUTION NO. 70R-71
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THAT THE
PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEMAND
THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF
CERTAIN MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT
AND MAKING FINDINGS RELATING THERETO.
The City Council of the City of Anaheim,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as
follows:
Section 1. That the public interest and neces-
sity demand the acquisition and construction by said city
of a certain municipal improvement, to wit:
a City Hall (location unspecified), the planting and
landscaping of grounds and provision for vehicle parking
therefor and including furniture, furnishings, apparatus,
equipment and other property necessary therefor.
That the estimated cost of said municipal improve-
ment is $ 8.)000.,000
That said municipal improvement
requires an expenditure greater than the amount allowed for
it by the annual tax levy and is necessary and convenient
to carry out the ob,j ects, purposes and powers of said city.

Section 2 That the public interest and
necessity demand the acquisition and construction by
said city of a certain municipal improvement, to wit:
storm drains with appurtenances and appurtenant works.
That the estimated cost of said municipal improve.
ment is . 4,500,000 That said municipal improvement
requires an expenditure greater than the amount allowed for
it by the annual tax levy and is necessary and convenient
to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of said city.

Section 3 That the public interest and
necessity demand the acquisition and construction by
said city of a certain municipal improvement, to wit:
two branch public libraries and additions and improve-
ments to the existing branch public library, including
the planting and landscaping of the library grounds,
provision for vehicle parking, initial book stock,
furniture, fixtures, equipment and other property
necessary therefor, and for the acquisition of real
property for two additional branch libraries.
That the estimated cost of said municipal improve-
ment is $850,000 That said municipal improvement
requires an expenditure greater than the amount allowed for
it by the annual tax levy and is necessary and convenient
to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of said city.

Section 4 That the pUblic interest and
necessity demand the acquisition and construction by
said city of a certain municipal improvement, to wit:
park sites and the acquisition and construction of
park improvements and public recreational facilities.
That the estimated cost of laid municipal improve-
ment is $ 3,665,000 That said municipal improvement
requires an expenditure greater than the amount allowed for
it by the annual tax levy and is necessary and convenient
to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of said city.
