A RESOLUTnON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION OF 'SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 2250-S-1
BETWEEN T~E CITY OF AN~IM AND THE STATE OF
CALIFORNI~ AMENDING AGREEMENT NO. 2250 EXECU-
TED ON MA~CH 19, 1968, BY AND BETWEEN THE
STATE OF dALIFORNIA AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
FOR THE D~STRIBUTION OF COST~ FOR MODIFICATION
OF TRAFFI~SIGNAL CONTROL SYSTEM AND HIGHWAY
LIGHTINGT THE INTERSECTION OF BALL ROAD WITH
STATE HIG AY ROUTE 72 (ANAHEIM BOULEVARD).
WHEREAS, agreement No. 2250 was executed by the City
on March 19, 1968, and by the State on May 24, 1968, providing
for the distribution of costs for the modification of traffic
signal control systems in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Agreement No. 2250 provided that the State's
share of the cost o~ the modification of said traffic signals
system would not exq:eed $12,100.00 unless otherwise provided in
a subsequent agreem~nt;, and
WHEREAS, the actual cost of the State's share based
upon construction c$sts is $20,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into an agreement
modifying said Agre$ment No. 2250 to provide for the State's
share to be the act~al constxuction cost; and
WHEREAS, ~he State of California has submitted to the
City Supplemental A~reement No. 2250-S-1 providing for the State
to pay the actual construction costs of $20,000.00.
NOW, THEReFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Supplemental Agreement No. 2250-S-1
providing for the State to pay the actual cost of construction
of $20,000.00 be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FUR~HER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they a~e hereby authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf olf the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of February , 1970.
