A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PU~ES

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner -- of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of CLIFTON E. BRILEY, an
unmarried man
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility jurposes
,an more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the southerly 53 feet as measured to
the centerline of Lincoln Avenue, formerly known as
Center Street, of that portion of Lot 5 of Anaheim,
Extension as shown on a Map made by Wm. Hamel and filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of East
Center Street with the southerly prolongation of the
easterly line of Lot 6 of Tract 1428 as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 47, pages 8 and 9 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California; thence Northerly
120 14' 00" Westerly along said southerly prolongation
and said easterly line and its northerly prolongation
411.90 feet to the southwesterly corner of Lot 80 of
said Tract No. 1428; thence North 750 01' 00" East
along the southerly line of said Lot 80 and its easterly
prolongation to the northw~sterly corner of land des-
cribed in a deed to Herbert L. Acton and others, recorded
September 8, 1947 in Book 1535, page 457 of Official
Records; thence South 140 43' 00" East along the westerly
line of said land of Herbert L. Acton to the centerline
of said East Center Street; thence South 740 3D' 00"
West 139.64 feet to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
