RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 52
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 2295-
S-l BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA AMENDING AGREEMENT NO. 2295
EXECUTED ON JULY 7, 1968, BY AND BETWEEN THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF COSTS "FOR MODIFICA-
TION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROL SYSTEM AND
HIGHWAY LIGHTING AT THE INTERSECTION OF EUCLID
STREET, STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 07-0RA-214 7.1.
WHEREAS, Agreement No. 2295 was executed by the City
on July 7, 1968, and by the State on September 26, 1968, provid-
ing for the distribution of costs for the modification of traffic
signal control systems in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Agreement No. 2295 provided that the State's
share of the cost of the modification of said traffic signals
system would not exceed $13,500.00 unless otherwise provided in
a subsequent agreement; and
WHEREAS, the actual cost of the State's share based
upon construction costs is $16,951.45; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into an agreement
modifying said Agreement No. 2295 to provide for the State's
share to be the actual construction cost; and
WHEREAS, the State of California has submitted to the
City Supplemental Agreement No. 2295-S-1 providing for the State
to pay the actual construction costs of $16,951.45.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Supplemental Agreement No. 2295-S-1
providing for the State to pay the actual cost of construction
of $16,951.45 be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 27th day of January , 1970.
