A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT E~WLOYING FPANK O. GEHRY & ASSOCI-
ATES, INC., A CALIFORNIA CORPORATION, TO
PERFOm~ A~CHITECTURAL CONSULTING SERVICES IN
CONNECTION WITH PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO THE
GREEK THEATER IN PEARSON PARK IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEU1.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to employ an
architect to furnish consultation services to the Parks and
Recreation Department of the City of Anaheim in connection with
proposed improvements to the Greek Theater in Pearson Park in
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Frank o. Gehry & Associates, Inc., a California
corporation, is qualified to render such architectural consulting
services and desires to be employed for such purpose; and
WHEREAS, said Frank O. Gehry & Associates, Inc., has
submitted a proposal for the architectural consulting services
hereinabove described under date of May 10, 1969, the terms and
conditions of which proposal, including fees, the City Council
finds to be satisfactory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that an agreement be made and entered into
by and between the City of Anaheim and Frank o. Gehry & Associates,
Inc., a California corporation, providing for the employment of
said Frank o. Gehry & Associates, Inc. by the City to furnish
architectural consulting services to the Parks and Recreation
Department of the City of Anaheim in connection with the proposed
improvements to the Greek Theater in Pearson Park in the City of
Anaheim, upon the terms and conditions, including fees, set forth
in the proposal above-mentioned submitted to the City by Frank o.
Gehry & Associates, Inc. under date of May 10, 1969.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute such agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of January, 1970.
