RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 27
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED AND
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has requested the Southern
California Edison Company to grant an easement for the ultimate
right of way along the East side of Anaheim Boulevard at 53 feet
to centerline across the Company's property South of Cerritos
Avenue 1 and
WHEREAS, the Southern California Edison Company has
tendered an easement deed covering said right of way and requests
the sum of $200.00 as a processing fee therefor1 and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim to accept said deed of easement
and authorize paYment of the processing fee to said Edison
Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it accept and it does hereby accept
that certain deed of road easement in favor of the City of
Anaheim, dated the 3rd day of November, 1969.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby authorized and directed to cause said deed to be
recorded;
~D BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director
be and he is hereby 'autho~ized and directed to draw a City
warrant in favor of Sout~rn California Edison Company in the
amount of $200.00 and to forward the same to the Office of the
City Attorney for transmittal to said Edison Company. Said
warrant is to be charged against Account No. 280-461-922-01.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of Januar , 1970.
