A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COill~CIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE.IIvl AU'l'HORIZlING THE UTILITIES DIRECTOR
TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH DEVELOPERS FOR THE
MEDALLION "LIVE BETTER ELECTRICALLY" PROGRA11
AND RELATED PROG~IS.
WHEREAS, -the City of Anaheim owns and operates its
electrical distribution system; and
WHEREAS, the City has for several years participated
in the Medallion Program for the purpose of enhancing the use
of electrical appliances; and
WHEREAS, the 1969-1970 Budget for the utilities
department includes funds budgeted for the Medallion "Live Better
Electrically" Program and other programs of a similar nature.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim til.at the utilities Director is hereby
authorized to execute agreements consistent with the Medallion
Program.
BE IT FURfi'hER HESOLVED, that the utilities Director
is authorized to execute agreements with the owners of co~~ercial
food dispensing establishments (including in-plant feeding) for
the purpose of enhancing the use of major electrical cooking
equipment in food dispensing establishments.
