RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 678
A RESOLUT.ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF A
LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DEPARTMENT
OF PUBLIC WORKS, WITH REFERENCE TO THE CITY
PERFORMING CONSTRUCTION SEWER DESIGN WORK
FOR THE DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS ON ROUTE 57
WITHIN THE CITY, AND...PROVIDING FOR THE PAY-
MENT TO THE CITY FOR THE COST INCURRED THERE-
IN.
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of
Public Works, Division of Highways has submitted to the City
of Anaheim a Letter of Understanding authorizing the City to
perform construction sewer design work for the Division of
Highways on Route 57 within the City; and
WHEREAS, said Letter of Understanding provides for
payment to the City for this design work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said agree-
ment is in the best interests of the City and should be
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding sub-
mitted to the City of Anaheim by the State of California,
Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, and on file
with the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim be, and the same
is hereby approved, and that ,the Director of Public Works be,
and he is hereby authorized to execute said agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 25th day of November , 1969.
