A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN -
1969.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, pursuant to Resolutions Nos. PC69-93 and PC69-147, has
recommended an amendment to General Plan for the City of Anaheim~
and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after rece~v~ng said recom-
mendation, held public hearings as required by law, at which
testimony was taken; and
vlliEREAS, the City Council has heretofore carefully con-
sidered all evidence presented concerning said General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, as a result of such con-
sideration, finds and determines that General Plan shall be
amended as to the combined Housing, Commercial, Industrial and
Community Facilities Elements of the 1969 General Plan pursuant
to the recommendations of the City Planning Commission of the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Anaheim
General Plan 1969 as depicted in the textual material marked
Exhibit II A" and on file in the Office of the City Clerk, and as
reflected in the map entitled "The General Plan, City of Anaheim -
1969;1, said map presently located in the City Council Chambers
and encompassing an area generally bounded on the West by Holder
Street; on the North by Crowther and Orangethorpe Avenues; on
the East by Gypsum Canyon Road; and on the South by Chapman
Avenue, Santa Ana River and the East West ridge lines formed
by the Santa Ana Mountains.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that id does hereby amend the combined Hous-
ing, Commercial, Industrial and Community Facilities Elements of
the 1969 Anaheim General Plan, as depicted in the textual material
marked Exhibit "A" and on file in the Office of the City Clerk,
and as reflected on the map entitled "The General Plan, City
of ~~aheim - 1969", said map presently located in the City Council
Chambers and encompassing an area generally bounded on the West
by Holder Street~ on the North by Crowther and Orangethorpe
Avenues; on the East by Gypsum Canyon Road; and on the South by
Chapman Avenue, Santa Ana River and the East West ridge lines formed
by the Santa Ana Mountains.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in order that the General
Plan shall at all times be current with the needs of the City of
Anaheim and in order that the General Plan shall represent the
long range, comprehensive, and general physical dev~lopment
policies of the City of Anaheim in the light of the changing
conditions, the Planning Commission shall, pursuant to Section
65541 of the Government Code, annually review the General Plan
and recommend to the City Council such amendments, changes,
extensions, or additions as it deems advisable; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 65540
of the Government Code, the Planning Commission shall investigate
and make recommendations to the City Council upon reasonable and
practical means far putting into effect the General Plan, in
order that it will serve as a pattern and guide for the orderly
physical growth and development of the City and as a basis for
the efficient expenditure of public funds.
