RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 638
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM WITHDRAWING TENTATIVE CONSENT AND
EXPRESSING OBJECTION TO PLACENTIA' S ANNEXA-
TION NO. 69-2.
WHEREAS, because the City of Anaheim favors logical
boundary lines between cities, it did in good faith tentatively
consent to the City of Placentia's Annexation No. 69-2; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Local Agency Formation
Commission and City of Placentia seem to no longer be con-
cerned with logical boundary lines, and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim considers that several
of the recent decisions of the Orange County Local Agency
Formation Commission are based upon political reasons rather
than the principals of the law that created such agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby withdraw its " tentative consent
to the City of Placentia's Annexation No. 69-2, and does hereby
refuse to consent to said annexation and does further declare
its opposition to said annexation.
