A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A FORMER SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
EDISON COMPANY EASEMENT LOCATED EAST OF
HALLIDAY STREET, NORTH OF HOLLY DRIVE. (82-l6A)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of July, 83, a public hearing
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of a portion of
that public utility easement, more specifically described as
follows:
That portion of that certain 12.00 foot wide public
utility easement acquired by the City of Anahem as
successor in interest to Southern California Edison
Company lying within Lot 117 of Tract No. 3823, in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California as recorded on August 11, 1964 in Book
203, pages 21 to 23, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County described as follows:

Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 117;
thence S 00 degrees 23' 10" E, 4.50 feet along the
easterly property line of said Lot 117, to the True
Point of Beginning; thence S 89 degrees 36' 50" W,
40.00 feet; thence N 00 degrees 23' 10" W, 1.00 feet;
thence S 89 degrees 36' 50" W, 66.78 feet more or
less to the westerly property line of said Lot 117;
thence S 00 degrees 16' 54" E, 2.50 feet along said
westerly property lines; thence N 89 degrees 36' 50"
E, 106.78 feet more or less to the easterly property
line of said Lot 117; thence N 00 degrees 23' 10" W,
1.50 feet along said easterly property line to the
true point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 26th day of July, 1983.
