RESOLUTION NO. 83R-251
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AGREEING TO ACCEPT THE RELINQUISH-
MENT OF A PORTION OF BALL ROAD AND WAIVING THE
PROTEST PERIOD RELATING THERETO.
WHEREAS, a portion of Ball Road, lying easterly of
Sunkist Street (said portion designated as "Relinquishment Area"
on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein)
is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation of
the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the City desires the California Transportation
Commission to relinquish the Relinquishment Area to the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby:
1. Request the California Transportation Commission to
relinquish the Relinquishment Area to the City of Anaheim.

Agree to accept said Relinquishment Area as a city
3. Waive the ninety-day protest period to contest said
relinquishment as said period is set forth in Section 73 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
