RESOLUTION NO.83R-130
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE COM-
MENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED
AS LAKEVIEW-ORANGETHORPE NO. 6 ANNEXATION TO
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to annex into its
boundaries certain unincorporated and uninhabited territory as
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, said City desires to extend the full range of
municipal services to said territory in order to better serve the
needs of said property, its owners and inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, said City desires this resolution to be deemed
a resolution of application proposing a change of organization
pursuant to Sections 35140 and 35110 of the Government Code of the
State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. That the within proposal is made pursuant to the
Municipal Organization Act of 1977 as set forth in Title 4,
Division 2, Part 2 of the Government Code of the State of
California.
2. That the nature of the proposed change of organization
is for the annexation of the hereinafter described approximately
20 acres of unincorporated and uninhabited territory to the City
of Anaheim.
3. That said unincorporated and uninhabited territory be,
and the same is hereby, designated as ftLakeview-Orangethorpe No. 6
Annexation to the City of Anaheim," and the boundaries of said
affected territory are legally described as set forth on Exhibit
WAft attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
A map showing the aforesaid boundaries and designated "Lakeview-
Orangethorpe No.6 Annexation to the City of Anaheim," is submitted
concurrently with and accompanies this Resolution.

4. That the reasons for the proposed change of organization
is to provide full municipal services to an unincorporated area in
an efficient and economical manner and to incorporate three county
islands within the corporate boundaries of the City of Anaheim.

5. That the City of Anaheim is hereby designated as the
chief petitioner with regard to this application and the mailing
address of said petitioner is as follows:

6. That the City of Anaheim does hereby request that annexa-
tion proceedings be taken and commenced for a change of organiza-
tion in connection with the hereinabove described unincorporated
territory pursuant to the provisions of said Municipal Organization
Act of 1977.
7. That, pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 6(a)(2) of
that certain Master Property Tax Transfer Agreement between the
County of Orange and the City of Anaheim dated October 28, 1980
("AgreementW), the County Administrative Office and the City
Manager, or their designees, have heretofore agreed in writing that
said territory to be annexed to the City of Anaheim shall be deemed
and treated as "developed/substantially developed" property for
purposes of said Agreement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted

Lakeview-Orangethorpe No. 6 Annexation
to the City of Anaheim
PARCEL 1:
That certain parcel of land located in the unincorporated territory of the
County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary line of the City of
Anaheim, said angle point being the most northwesterly corner of the
"Lakeview-Orangethorpe No. 4 Annexation" to said City of Anaheim; thence
along said existing boundary line of the City of Anaheim per "Lakeview-
Orangethorpe No. 4 Annexation" per "Northeast No. 3 Annexation" per
"Lakeview-Orangethorpe No. 2 Annexation" per "Lakeview-Orangethorpe Annexa-
tion" to the most northerly northwest corner of said "Lakeview-Orangethorpe
Annexation" in a general Southerly, Easterly and Westerly direction; thence
leaving said existing boundary line of said City of Anaheim to a point on
the existing boundary line of the City of Placentia as established by the
"City of Placentia Annexation No. 69-1" said point being the most northerly
northwest corner of said "Lakeview-Orangethorpe Annexation"; thence along
said existing boundary of "Annexation No. 69-1" through the following
courses: N 000 481 16" E, 25.18 feet; thence N 820 24' 33" W, 20.14 feet;
thence N 000 48' 16" E, 25.26 feet; thence N 860 16' 45" W, 50.53 feet;
thence N 000 37' 33" W, 141.12 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 1,250 feet; thence Northerly
along said curve through a central angle of 240 20' 52" an arc distance of
531.19 feet; thence N 240 44' 40" E, 750.93 feet to the most southerly
southwest corner of the "City of Yorba Linda Annexation No. 82-06 "; thence
N 730 14' 27" E, 64.87 feet along the Southerly line of said annexation to
the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2:
That certain parcel of land located in the unincorporated territory of the
County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary line of the City of
Anaheim, said angle point being the most southwesterly corner of the
"Lakeview-Orangethorpe No. 5 Annexation" to said City of Anaheim; thence
along said existing boundary line of the City of Anaheim per "Lakeview-

Anaheim, said angle point being the most southwesterly corner of the
"Lakeview-La Palma Annexation" to said City of Anaheim; thence along said
existing boundary line of the City of Anaheim per "Lakeview-La Palma
Annexation" per "Northeast No. 3 Annexation" in a general Easterly, Southerly,
Westerly and Northerly direction; thence leaving said existing boundary line
of the City of Anaheim to a point on the existing boundary line of the City
of Placentia established by the "City of Placentia Annexation No. 69-1",
said point being S 890 48' 10" W, 20.00 feet of the most southeasterly corner
of said "Annexation No. 69-1"; thence along said existing boundary of the
City of Placentia N 890 48' 10" E, 20.00 feet; thence N 000 37' 33" W, 60.00
feet to the point of beginning.
The above described parcels of land contain 20 acres, more or less.
