A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82R-588 WHICH
ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSES
DESIGNATED AS EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS. the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated March 16. 1983 that a new job classification be created and that
a classification be abolished; and
WHEREAS. as a result thereof. the need exists to amend Resolution
No. 82R-588 which established rates of compensation for classes designated as
Executive Management; and
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
the creation of this classification and the abolishing of a classification is
in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the following job classification be created and allocated to the
Salary Schedule Master as follows:
That effective March 25. 1983. the basic compensation plan for all
officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in
the future be employed in any of the classifications listed below shall be
allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary Schedule Master.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
that Resolution No. 82R-588 be amended by abolishing the obsolete
classification of Deputy City Manager - Public Works.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extent amended.
Resolution No. 82R-588 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of March
1983.
