A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM MAKING A FINDING REGARDING THE
VALUE OF WRITTEN PROTESTS FILED AND NOT WITH-
DRAWN IN ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR SANTA ANA
CANYON NO. 11 ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND ORDERING THE TERRITORY ANNEXED
PURSUANT TO SECTION 35229 OF THE GOVERNMENT
CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, a petition for the proposed annexation desig-
nated Santa Ana Canyon No. 11 Annexation to the City of Anaheim in
the County of Orange was heretofore filed by the City of Anaheim
and accepted for filing on December 17, 1982, by the Executive
Officer of Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County,
California (hereinafter "Commission") pursuant to Part 2 of Title
4, Division 2, commencing with Section 35000 et seq. of the
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the distinctive short form designation as-
signed by the Commission to the territory proposed to be annexed
is: SANTA ANA CANYON NO. 11 ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to the
City of Anaheim consists of approximately 164.9 acres of land in
the County of Orange, and the exterior boundaries thereof are
specifically described in the legal description attached hereto
marked Exhibit "A" and by this reference made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has heretofore determined in its
Resolution No. 83-2, adopted on January 12, 1983, that the
territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
heretofore adopted its Resolution No. 83R-21 on January 18, 1983,
initiating proceedings pursuant to Section 35220 of the Government
Code for the annexation of the hereinabove described territory to
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim con-
ducted a duly noticed public hearing on February 22, 1983, and did
hear and receive all oral and written protests, objections, and
evidence made, presented or filed in opposition to the proposed
annexation of the hereinabove described territory to the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:

1. That the City Council does hereby find that written
protests have been filed and not withdrawn by the owners of land
and improvements who own zero(O~ercent of the total assessed value
of land and improvements within the territory hereinabove described
and that the value of said written protests is less than fifty
percent of the total assessed value of land and improvements within
said territory.
2. That the City Council does hereby order the annexation of
the hereinabove described territory to the City of Anaheim pursu-
ant to Section 35229 of the Government Code of the State of
California.
3. That the following terms and conditions were imposed upon
said annexation pursuant to Commission Resolution No. 83-2:
a. The boundaries of the territory to be annexed to
the City of Anaheim are specifically described in the legal
description attached to said Commission Resolution No. 83-2 and by
such reference made a part thereof. Said territory was found to be
uninhabited and was assigned the following designation: SANTA ANA
CANYON NO. 11 ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
b. The City of Anaheim was designated as the conduct-
ing authority and the City Council thereof was directed to initiate
annexation proceedings in compliance with said Commission
Resolution.
c. The City Council of the City of Anaheim shall by
resolution consent to the formation of the City of Yorba Linda
Assessment District No. 83-1. Said Resolution shall be adopted and
submitted to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation
Commission prior to the issuance of a certificate of completion.
d. Any election called upon the question of confirm-
ing an order for annexation shall be called, held and conducted
upon such annexation only within the territory ordered to be
annexed.
e. The City of Anaheim, as applicant, shall be liable
for and pay all proper expenses incurred in conducting proceedings
for the annexation in compliance with Commission Resolution No.
83-2.
4. That the City Clerk shall file a certified copy of this
Resolution with the Executive Officer of the County of Orange Local
Agency Formation Commission.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of February, 1983.

Beginning at the Westerly terminus of that certain course described as
"s 720 10' 54" W, 888.00"feet in "Annexation No. 78-02 Bryant Ranch" to the
City of Yorba Linda; thence along the existing boundary line of said City of
Yorba Linda per said "Annexation No. 78-02 Bryant Ranch" and "Annexation No.
82-01" through the fo110'.."ing courses: N 720 10' 54" E. 888.00 feet; thence
S 170 49' 06" E, 50.00 feet; thence N 720 10' 54" E. 538.61 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of
3.~81.10 feet; thence Easterly along said curve through a central angle of
200 15' 45" an arc distance of 1.301.81 feet to a point on a non-tangent
line. a radial line through said point bears S 380 04' 51" E; thence along
said non-tangent line S 00 22' 25" E, 440.97 feet; thence S 610 51' 04" W.
875.71 feet; thence S 180 46' 54" W, 743.99 feet to a point on the centerline
of Weir Canyon Road, said point being on a non-tangent curve concave South-
westerly and having a radius of 1600.00 feet, a radial line to said point
bears N 170 19' 54" E'~thence Southeasterly along said curve and said center-
line through a central angle of 430 36' 01" on arc distance of 1,217.55 feet
to a tangent line; thence along said tangent line and said centerlir.e
