RESOLUTION NO. 83R-29

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DETERMINING THE EXISTENCE OF A
PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING ABATEMENT THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, on the
30th day of November, 1982, held a duly noticed public hearing to
ascertain whether certain premises constitute a public nuisance;
and
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said hearing the City
Council did for good cause shown grant a continuance to
January 25, 1983 for determination of the matter.
WHEREAS, upon hearing as continued and considering all
relevant evidence and testimony, said City Council found and
determined that such nuisance exists and should be abated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
hereby determines that a public nuisance as defined in the
Municipal Code of the City of Anaheim exists on the premises
designated as 949 North Mohican Avenue, City of Anaheim,
California, and more particularly described as Lot No.5, Tract
No. 2396, in the following particulars:
1. 6.44.0l0.070.0ll6(i) - Motor vehicles, trailers,
campers, boats, or other mobile equipment parked on
lawn or yards.
That the City Council hereby orders said public nuisance
to be abated within 30 days as follows:
1. Remove car from lawn; or
2. Construct a driveway of gravel, asphalt,
cement, etc.
That if said abatement is not accomplished by the
expiration of thirty (30) days, the City Manager is hereby
authorized and directed to cause said public nuisance to be abated
by City forces or private contract pursuant to the Anaheim
~1unicipal Code.
That the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim be and she is
hereby authorized and directed to file a copy of this resolution,
with findings and recommendations attached, to be served upon the
owners of said premises pursuant to the Anaheim Municipal Code.
