A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR A
GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF CRIMINAL
JUSTICE PLANNING FOR IMPLEMENTING THE ANAHEIM
CAREER CRIMINAL APPREHENSION PROGRAM, AGREE-
ING TO PROVIDE REQUIRED MATCHING FUNDS,
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF SAID GRANT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH SAID
GRANT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to undertake a cer-
tain project designated Anaheim Career Criminal Apprehension
Program to be funded in part from funds made available through
State General Funds FY 81/82 as authorized by Chapter 1292 of the
1982 Statutes for the Career Criminal Apprehension Program, admin-
istered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter
referred to as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of
the City of. Anaheim is author ized, on its behalf, to submi t the
attached Application for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to
OCJP and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Anaheim
the Grant Award for law enforcement purposes, including any exten-
sions or amendments thereof, in the form required by OCJP.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to
provide all matching funds required for said project (including
any extension or amendment thereof) under the Career Criminal
Apprehension Program and the rules and regulations of OCJP and
that cash will be appropriated as required thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received here-
under shall not be used to supplant other law enforcement expendi-
tures controlled by the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of January, 1983.
