RESOLUTION NO. 84R-224
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
AN ACCOUNT ENTITLED THE "MEAL REIMBURSEMENT
ACCOUNT" IN CONNECTION WITH THE PAYMENT FOR
MEALS PURSUANT TO THE I.B.E.W. MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING OF OCTOBER 7, 1983.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is legally obligated to
pay for employees' meals under certain circumstances pursuant
to Article 52 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers (I.B.E.W.) Memorandum of Understanding of October 7,
1983; and
WHEREAS, said Article 52 outlines the eligibility
requirements for the payment for meals by the City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, the City is in need of a special account from
which payments for such meals may be made pursuant to said
Article 52.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby authorize the establishment
of an account entitled the "Meal Reimbursement Account" for the
purpose of paying for employees' meals in those circumstances
outlined in Article 52 of the I.B.E.W. Memorandum of
Understanding of October 7, 1983.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director and
the City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed
to sign such documents as may be necessary to cause the
establishment of the account contemplated hereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that checks or warrants drawn
against said account are to be signed by the Assistant Finance
Director, the Public Utilities Assistant General Managers, the
Public Utilities Field Manager, Public Utilities Systems
Operations Manager, Electrical General Supervisors, Water
General Supervisors or the Public Utilities Chief Dispatchers
of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this Iqrn day
of June , 1984.
