A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF AIlAHEIM AND THE GENERAL
TRUCK DRIV]tRS UNION, LOCAL 1952.
WHEREAS, on March 29, 1983, the City Council approved Resolution
No. 83R-128 adopting a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim
and the General Truck Drivers Union, Local 1952; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with
officials and employee representatives of the General Truck Drivers Union,
Local 1952, to discuss pension changes; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated January 19, 1984 between the
parties has been prepared and signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adoption of said Letter of Understanding is in the best interest of the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE !T RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Uu,erstanding dated January 19, 1984 between the
City of Anaheim and The General Truck Drivers Union, Local 1952 is hereby
approved and adopted.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 24th day of April , 1984.
