RESOLUTION NO. 84R-73
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED UP TO
THE HOUR OF 2:00 P.M. ON THE 2ND DAY OF
FEBRUARY, 1984, FOR THE OLIVE HILLS RESERVOIR
STORM DRAIN CHANNEL REPAIR, ACCOUNT NO.
51-479-6329-17280-70810, AND READVERTISING THE
REQUEST FOR BIDS THEREON.
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of January, 1984, the City
Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt Resolution No. 84R-5
finding and determining that public convenience and necessity
required the repair of the Olive Hills Reservoir storm drain
channel in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, tqe City Council did authorize and direct the
City Clerk to publish a notice according to law inviting sealed
proposals for the above-mentioned public improvement, and fixing
the 2nd day of February, 1984, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. as
the date and hour far the opening of said bids in the Council
Chamber in the Anaheim Civic Center; and
WHEREAS, upon said 2nd day of February, 1984, at the hour
of 2:00 o'clock P.M., the City Clerk and City Engineer did open
the bids received up to that hour, in public, in the Anaheim Civic
Center Council Chamber, and the City Engineer did review the bids
so received and did report the results thereof to the City Council
at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of February, 1984; and
WHEREAS, th~ City Council finds that it is in the best
interests of the City of Anaheim to reject all bids received and
to readvertise the request for bids for the following described
public improvement:
Olive Hills Reservoir storm drain channel repair, in
the City of Anaheim, consisting of the construction of
54" R.C.P., 48" special wall R.C.P., P.C.C. transitions
and headwalls, import borrow and compacted fill, debris
cleaning and all other appurtenant work as shown on the
plans and delineated in the specifications on file in
the Office of the City Engineer, Account No.
51-479-6329-17280-70810.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all bids received up to the hour of 2:00
o'clock P.M. on February 2, 1984, reviewed by the City Engineer
and submitted to the City Council on February 21, 1984, for the
repair of the Olive Hills Reservoir storm drain channel be, and
the same are hereby, rejected and that the above-mention public
improvement be readvertised as follows:
1. That the Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals shall be
published on March 1 and March 8, 1984.
2. That the opening of the bids shall be on March 22, 1984.

3. That the award of the contract will be on April 10, 1984.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 21st day of February,
1984.
