84R-044 RESOLUTION NO. 84R -44 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO CONTINUE A MINORITY BUSINESS PROGRAM FOR ALL PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECEIVING UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FUNDING AND ESTABLISHING AN OVERALL MINORITY BUSINESS GOAL OF 10% FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1984. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has previously adopted a Minority Business Program; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim desires to continue with said Program; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City of Anaheim es- tablish program goals for the period of October 1, 1983 through September 30, 1984. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does adopt Exhibit "A" establishing the overall goal for its Minority Business Program for the fiscal year ending.September 30, 1984 as 10% with a minority goal of 7 %, and a female goal of 3 %. CITY CLERK ''� EXHIBIT "A" MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GOAL CITY OF ANAHEIM, CA The goal for the City of Anaheim is 7% minority business enterprise and 3% female business enterprise. The percen- tage indicated shall be based upon the total value of prime contracts, subcontract approvals, and miscellaneous contracts as they relate to the total U.S. Dot Funds received for con- tracting purposes by the City of Anaheim. This goal covers the period from October 1, 1983 through September 30, 1984. The above goals are based upon availa- bility of MBE's and anticipated opportunities for MBE's.
