84R-042 RESOLUTION NO. 84R -42
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING THE CONTRACT WITH
GUTIERREZ CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, PUBLIC WORKS
PROJECT (UTILITIES SERVICE MATERIAL STORAGE
AREA PAVING).
WHEREAS, the City did enter into a contract to perform
certain public works, i.e., the Utilities Service Material Storage
Area Paving with Gutierrez Construction Company on October 18,
1983; and
WHEREAS, Gutierrez Construction Company has failed and
refused to perform the contract; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim
to rescind said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the contract between the City of Anaheim and
Gutierrez Construction Company for the Utilities Service Center
Material Storage Area Paving, account Nos. 51- 699- 6329 -0957M and
55- 699 - 6329- 0975M - 3900R be and the same is hereby rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 3lst day
of January , 1984.
