A RESOLUT~O.N OF THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE AND 0 EN SPACE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM
GENERAL P DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 196,
EXHIBIT "1!."
WHEREAS, ~he City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of he Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General P an for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, ~n the 14th day of November, 1984, the City
Planning Commission lof the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider !a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Aaendment does conSjder changing the Land Use and Open Space
Elements of the Gen ra1 Plan relating to the area of land
consisting of appro imate1y 10.5 acres bounded on the northwest by
the Orange (57) Fre way right-of-way, north by Ball Road, east by
Wrangler Trail, sou ,h by Taft Avenue and west by Eaton Way; and
WHEREAS, ~t said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did dulyfadopt its Resolution No. PC84-234 containing a
report of its findiQ9s, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and r~commending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as ~endment No. 196 be adopted by the City
Council changing th~ Land Use and Open Space designations for the
aforedescribed area to "GENERAL INDUSTRIAL" in accordance with
Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, 4pon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of ifindings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission,. the Ci ty Council did fix the 4th day of
December, 1984, as ~he time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the jplace for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 196 a~d did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; an~
WHEREAS, ~he City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and 4id give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be h~ard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the re~ommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
~,
WHEREAS, ~'he City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 196 c anging the Land Use and Open Space designation
in the'aforedescrib d area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file
with the City should be approved.

NOW, THEREroRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 196 to the General Plan
changing the Land Us~ and Open Space Elements of the General Plan
relating to the afor~escribed area to "GENERAL INDUSTRIAL II in
accordance with Exhi~it "A" on file with the City be, and the same
is hereby, approved.'
