THE GENERAL C. In EMPLOY$S UNIT REPRESENTED BY THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL EM . YEES ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, the need ,~ists to create the classification of Welder
Helper; and
WHEREAS, the Humanj~esources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated November 13, IP~4, that tbe new job classification be created; and
WHEREAS, the HumaniResourcesDirector has determined that the new
classification be assigned ~o the Gene~al City Employees Unit represented by
the Aaaheim Municipal Employ~es Association; and
WHEREAS, the City Pouncil of the City of Anaheim does find tha t the
creation of this classifica~ton is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BEi IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
1. That effectivei~vember 30,1984, the basic compensation plan for
all officers and employees ~.,f. the City.. of Anaheim who are now employed or will
in the future be employed i. ithe clas~fication listed below shall be
allocated to the following ~ary schedule in the Salary Schedule Master:

classification of Welder He~per shall be .821 X Welder Mechanic.

BE IT FURTHER RESOfVED that aJ.1 provisions of the Memorandum of
Understanding, dated Februatt 10, 1984, between the City of Anaheim and the
General City Employees Uniti~f the An~eim Municipal Employees Association
apply to the foregoing clas~ification.
