A RESOLUTiON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC
CONVENIENE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUC-
TION AND ,. OMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT,
TO WIT:
CONSTRUCT ON OF RESTROOM BUILDING AT LA PALMA
PARK, IN HE CITY OF ANAHEIM, ACCOUNT NOS.

WHEREAS, ~Ublic convenience and necessity require the
construction and co~pletion of a public improvement in the City of
Anaheim, to wi t: '
Construction o~ a restroom building at La Palma Park,
in the City ofiAnaheim, including but not limited to:
site work, conirete, masonry, carpentry, roofing,
plaster, paint ng, doors and sky lights, plumbing,
electrical, et ., and all appurtenant work thereto, as
shown on the pans, and delineated in the
specifications on file in the Office of the City
Engineer Accou t Nos. 25-827-7105-27060 &
16-827-7105-21 2F & 16-827-7l03-27l2D &
16-827-7103-27 60 & 16-827-7105-27160 &
16-827-7105-27 80 & l6-827-7l05-27l2G: and
WHEREAS, ~he City Council instructed the Public Works
Department to prepa~e detailed designs, plans, profiles, drawings
and specifications, I and estimates of quantities and costs and make
necessary surveys f~r the construction of said public improvement:
and
WHEREAS, ~aid Public Works Department has prepared said
detailed designs, p~ans, profiles, drawings and specifications for
the construction of! said public improvement and has submitted the
same to the City Co~ncil: and

WHEREAS, ~he City Council finds that said detailed
designs, plans, proiles, drawings and specifications for said
public improvementbove mentioned, are in accordance with good
engineering practic and are adequate to serve the needs and
requirements of the! City of Anaheim and the citizens and residents
in said area for tht purposes for which they are intended, and that
they are adequate f r the construction of said public improvement
and should be appro ed.
NOW, THERt. ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim tha the detailed designs, plans, profiles,
drawings and specif cations for said public improvement hereinabove
mentioned and described be, and the same are hereby, approved and
adopted as prepared"by said Public Works Department.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said public improvement
shall be constructe. in accordance with said detaiied designs,
plans, profiles, drt'Wings and specif.ications as prepared by said
Public Works Depart ent and hereby approved, and such addenda or
modifications there b as may be approved prior to the awarding of
bids therefor.
BE IT FURtHER RESOtVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and the is hereby, authorized and directed to
publish a notice acording to law, inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of a 1 plant, labor, services, materials and
equipment, and all "41tilities and transportation, including power,
fuel and water, and:performing all work necessary to construct and
complete, in a goodiand workmanlike manner, in strict accordance
with said detailed .esigns, plans, profiles, drawings and
specifications as ptepared by said PUblic Works Department, the
public improvements'hereinabove mentioned and described, and
fixing the 15th day of November, 1984, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock
P.M. as the date an~ hour for the opening of said bids at the City
Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and that
said notice shall b. published twice, the first of which
publications shall ~e at least ten (10) days prior to the date
fixed for the openi*9 of bids, and that said publications shall be
at least five (5) d+ys apart.
BE IT FURtHER RESOLVED that the successful bidder or
bidders shall be retuired to enter into a contract with the City
of Anaheim in the m.nner and form approved by the City Attorney of
the City of Anaheim'for the construction, installation and
completion of said thbliC. improv.ement hereinabove mentioned and
described, in accorance with the plans and specifications
prepared by said Pu lic Works Department, the notice inviting
sealed proposals, t is resolution and all applicable City
Ordinances or Code $ections and the laws of the State of
California, and shatl be required to post bonds and insurance in
the amounts and wit. in ,the time required by law, as specified in
the notice invitin91~ealed proposals, and in a form approved by
the City Attorney.
THE FOREG~ING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of theiCity of Anaheim this 16th day of October, 1984.
