RESOLUTION NO. 84R-407
A RESOLDTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY or: ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION
Of CIT'k"1 RECORDS MORE THAN TWO YEARS OLD

WHEREAS, Sep~ion 340~0 of the Government Code of the
State of California ~,pthorize~ the destruction of certain records
of the City upon apptpval of the legislative body of the City,
and with the written! ~onsent pf the City Attorney, provided that
said records do not f~ll withtn certain specified categories; and
WHEREAS, th~ followi~g described documents in the
possession of the An~~eim City Attorney are more than two years
old and are document~ which ate authorized for destruction under
the provisions of sal~ Section 34090 of the Government Code
without making a copy thereof; and
WHEREAS, th, City At~orney of the City of Anaheim has
determined that said ~ocuments do not have sufficient value to
justify retention; and
WHEREAS, th, City Copncil concurs in the determination
of the City Attorney~nd finds the destruction of the records in
the best interests of'the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, th,: City Attorney of the City of Anaheim does
by the approval of t~~s resolption hereby give his written
consent for the desttbction or the listed records.
NOW, THEREFPRE, BE It RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim ~hat the City Attorney of the City of Anaheim
be, and he is hereby, authori~ed to destroy immediately, in a
lawful manner, the f~~lowing 6escribed documents under his charge
without making any cb~ies the~eof, to wit:
Copies of mJ~cellanepus documents, agreements, bonds,
resolutions and orig~pal memoranda relating to subdivision tracts
prior to July 1, 197~~
Copies of e~~ement deeds, resolutions, memoranda and
miscellaneous corresPbndence relating to grants and easements
prior to January, l~~;

File copies pf proof of unsecured debt, 1969-1976;

Copies of p~eadings, papers and correspondence relating
to violations of public nuisance ordinance No. 3926 by:

to those certain mat,.... rs desctibed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated here n by this reference as if set forth i~ full.
AND BE IT F'~THER RE$OLVED that upon destruction of the
foregoing records, a ~ertific~te of destruction shall be executed
and the ori9inal thet~of filed in the office of the City Clerk
