A RESOLUTIqN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIMjECLARING AN INTENTION TO GRANT A
FRANCHISE . GOLDEN WEST REFINING COMPANY FOR
PIPELINES KNOTT STREET.
WHEREAS, Gi!lden West Refining Company (hereinafter II GWRC II )
has submitted an ap .icationfor a franchise to construct and
maintain pipelines r the transportation of hydrocarbon substances
in Knott Street from the north to the south City boundary; and
WHEREAS, t~ proposed franchise ordinance is for a ten
year term, and conta~ns the terms and conditions upon which said
franchise will be g~nted; and
WHEREAS, a draft of the proposed ordinance granting said
franchise is availabP-'e for public inspection in the Office of the
City Clerk at 200 So~th Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, th~ terms and conditions of said ordinance are
incorporated by refelrence in this ordinance; and
WHEREAS, se~ion 1401 requires that a public hearing be
held where persons h~ving any interest therein or objection thereto
may appear before th~ City Council and be heard thereon.

NOW, THEREFPRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council as
1. That a hear~ng to consider any objectrohs to said
franchise is hereby ~chedu1ed at 1:30 P.M. on November 13 , 1984,
or as soon thereafte~ as the same may be heard, in the City Council
Chambers, City Hail, 200 South Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim.

2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and
directed to publish this resolution within fifteen days of the date
of this resolution in the official newspaper.
THE FOREGOJNG RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day of October, 1984.
