R$SOLUTION NO. 84R-348
A RESOLUTIO$ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM 4fPROVINGAND CONCURRING IN THE
COUNTY OF O~GE SOLiD WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN.

WHEREAS, th. Nejedly-Z'berg-Dills Solid Waste Management
and Resource ReCOVer! Act of 1972 (hereafter referred to as the
Act) requires each c ~nty in cooperation with affected local
jurisdictions, to prpare a comprehensive, coordinated solid waste
management plan; and
WHEREAS, sa~d Act also requires that such plan sha11 be
consistent with stat. policy and any appropriate regional or
subregional solid wafte manag.ment plan; and

WHEREAS, sa~d Act also requires that the county solid
waste management pla$shall b. subject to the appro.al by a
majority of the citi+s within the county which contain a majority
of the population of the incorporated area of the county; and
WHEREAS, thi'county of Orange has prepared a revised plan
for solid waste mana ~ment in;conformance with the Act and
submitted said plan 0 this C6uncil for approval; and
WHEREAS, th. provisions of the plan are acceptable to the
City Council of the ~ity of Aaaheim.
