A RESOLUTI!ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE~M GIVING PUBLIC APPROVAL TO THE
tSSUANCE F INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT' AUTHORITY
OF ANAHEI INDUST~IAL REVENUE BONDS FOR THE
PURPOSE PROVlnI~G FIN~NCING TO SANDERS
ASSOCIATES, INC. (CALCOMP)
RESOLVED ~y the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
California that:
WHEREAS, ithe Industrial DeveJ.opmet;lt Authority of
Anaheim (the .Author!ity.) proposes to issue industrial revenue
I
bonds for the purpise of financing the purchase of certain
digital plotter equi '~ent for its manufact~ringfaci1i~y 10cated
in the City of A ~heim by Sanders Associate~, Inc. (the
.Company.);
WHEREAS, ~t is intended that the interest paid' on the
Bonds by the Authori/ty be excludable from gross income for the
purposes of Federal ~ncome taxes;
. WHe,~BAS', .j.tctio-n 1>03 (k) of the Internal Revenue Code
of 1954, as amend a, requires that the applicable elected
representative of he Authority shall approve, after public
hearing fol.lowing re~sonable public notice, the issuance o"f s'uch
bonds by the Authori~y; and
'WHEREAS, ~nis City Council is the applicable elected
representat.:ive of th Au~hority and this City Council h~s. ~eld on
the date hereof a !i>ublic hearing following reasonable' public
notice on the quest~on of whether this Authority should approve
the issuance of ind,stria1 revenue bonds by the Authority, and
all persons requestii9 to be heard have been heard;
NOW, THE EFORE, it is hereby FOUND, ORDERED and
DETERMINED that theity Council does hereby approve the issuance
of industrial revenue bonds by the Authority in the principal
amount of $l,OOO,Ooa for the purpose of providing financing to
Sanders Associates, Inc. (CALCOMP) for the purchase of certain
digital plotter equif'ment for its manufacturing facility located
at 2411 West La Palm. Avenue in the City of Anaheim, California.
