A RESOLUT~. N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANABEl . FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC
CONVENIEN. AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUC-
TION AND .OMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT,
TO WIT: I
RIVERDALE/PARK PICNIC SHELTER, IN THE CITY OP
ANAHEIM, tCCOUNT NO. 16-822-7105-22080.
WHEREAS, fUbliC convenience and necessity require the
construction and co. pletion of a public improvement in the City of
Anaheim, to wit:

Providing and nstalling a picnic shelter at Riverdale
Park (north si e of Riverdale and west of Lakeview), in
the City of An heim, complete with concrete block
pilaster, conc ete installation and construct wood
structure. Al work shall be done in accordance with
the plans and pecifications for this project on file
in the office f the City Engineer, Account No.
16-822-7105-22 eo; and
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, tSid Public Works Department has prepared said
detailed designs, pans, profiles, drawings and specifications for
the construction of said public improvement and has submitted the
same to the City Co ncil; and
WHEREAS, he City Council finds that said detailed
designs, plans, pro iles, drawings and specifications for said
public improvement hove mentioned, are in accordance with good
engineering practic and are adequate to serve the needs and
requirements of the City of Anaheim and the citizens and residents
in said area for th purposes for which they are intended, and that
they are adequate f r the construction of said public improvement
and should be appro ed.

NOW, THE*', ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Ci ty of Anaheim tha . the detailed designs, plans, profiles,
drawings and specif cations for said public improvement hereinabove
mentioned and descr bed be, and the same are hereby, approved and
adopted as prepared by said Public Works Department.

BE IT FUR HER RESOLVED that said public improvement
shall be constructe in accordance with said detailed designs,
plans, profiles, dr wings and specifications as prepared by said
Public Works Depart ent and hereby approved, and such addenda or
mpdifications there b as may be approved prior to the awarding of

BE IT FUR. ER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and pe is hereby, authorized and directed to
publish a notice ac brding to law, inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of a 1 plant, labor, services, materials and
equipment, and all tilities and transportation, including power,
fuel and water, and I performing all work necessary to construct and
complete, in a 900dtla,nd workmanlike manner, in strict accordance
with said detailed esigns, plans, profiles, drawings and
specifications as p ~pared by said Public Works Department, the
pUblic improvements hereinabove mentioned and described, and
fixing the 27th dayjof September, 1984, at the hour of 2:00
o.clock P.M. as the Jdate and hour for the opening of said bids at
the City Council Ch~mber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim,
and that said notic shall be published twice, the first of which
publications shall e at least ten (10) days prior to the date
fixed for the openi1g of bids, and that said publications shall be
at least five. (5) djfS apart.
BE IT FUR~EER RESOLVED that the successful bidder or
bidders shall be re,\1ired to enter into a contract with the City
of Anaheim in the m nner and form approved by the City Attorney of
the City of Anaheim for the construction, installation and
completion of said '~u" blic . improvement, hereinabove.,. ae,. n.,tioned" and
described, in accor ance with the plans and speciff.ca'tfons ,
prepared by said Pu lic Works Departmeht, the notice inviting
sealed proposals, t is resolution and all applicable City
Ordinances or COde~ections and the laws of the State of
Cali fornia, and sha I'. be required to post bonds and insurance in
the amounts and wit,in the time required by law, as specified in
the qotice inviting1jealed proposals, and in a form approved by
the City Attorney.
THE FOREGd!NG RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the lCity of Anaheim this 4th day of September,
1984.
