RESOLUTION NO. 84R- 312
A RESOLUTIO, OF APPLICATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITYIOF ANAHEIM INITIATING A PROPOSAL
FOR A MUNICtPAL REORGANIZATION DESIGNATED AS
REORGANIZAT~ON NO. 69 AND APPROVING A NEGATIVE
DECLARATION!IN CONJUNCTION THEREWITH.
WHEREAS, th~ City of Anaheim desires that certain
uninhabited territort currently within the City boundaries of
the City of Fullerto4 be detached from said City and that said
territory be annexed!into the City boundaries of the City of
Anaheim~ and
WHEREAS, said City desires to extend the full range
of municipal service to said territory and to integrate
development of said erritory with the development of adjacent
property within the city of Anaheim~ and
WHEREAS, Se~tion 99(b) of the Revenue and Taxation
Code requires the ad ption of a resolution by local agencies
agreeing to the exch nge of property tax revenues prior to the
executive officer of it he Local Agency Formation Commission
issuing a certificat. of filing for a municipal
reorganization~ and .
WHEREAS, said City desires this resolution to be
deemed a resolution f application proposing a municipal re-
organization pursuan to Sections 35100, 35110 and 35140 of
the Government Code ,f the State of California.
NOW, THEREF~RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim 48 follows:
1. That thi. within proposal is made pursuant to the
Municipal Organizati n Act of 1977 as set forth in Title 4,
Division 2, Part 2 o. the Government Code of the State of
California.
2. That th, nature of the proposed municipal re-
organization is for ~he detachment of the hereinafter des-
cribed uninhabited t.rritory from the City of Fullerton and
the annexation of said territory into the boundaries of the
City of Anaheim.

3. That sa~d municipal reorganization be, and the
same is hereby, desit..nated as "Reorganization No. 69" and the
boundaries of said a fected territory are as follows:

cularly described as follows:

Fullerton, Count of Orange, State of California, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an 'ngle point in the existing boundary
line of the CitYiof Anaheim, said angle point being
the intersection/of the centerline of Raleigh Street
with said eXisti*9 boundary line of the City of
Anaheim as creat~d by "Reorganization No. 68'" to said
City of Anaheim, isaid point also being the True Point
of Beginning~ th,nce Northerly along the existing
boundary line of!the City of Anaheim as created by
"Miles Rancho An4exation" to the City of Anaheim
483.80 feet to a~ angle point~ thence N 84 degrees 171
18" E, 232.92 fe t~ thence N 89 degrees 37' 25" E,
398.42 feet~ the ce N 88 degrees 11' 09" E, 531.48

Anaheim as creat d by "Acacia Street Annexation No.

"Reorganization o. 68" through its various courses in
a Southerly, Sou hwesterly, Southerly, Westerly,
Northerly, Weste ly and Northwesterly direction to the
True Point of Be inning.
The above descri~ed parcel of land contains 17.733
acres, more or l~ss.~
A map ShOWii9 the aforesaid boundaries and designated
"Reorganization No.9" is submitted concurrently with and
accompanies this Res lution.
4. That th+ reasons for the proposed municipal re-
organization is to i*tegrate development of said affected
territory with the d+velopment of adjacent property within the
City of Anaheim. '
5. That th+ City of Anaheim is hereby designated as the
chief petitioner wit~ regard to this application and the mailing
address of said petitioner is as follows:

6. That th+ City of Anaheim does hereby request that
proceedings be taken land commenced for a municipal reorgani-
zation in connection!with the hereinabove described territory
pursuant to the prov~sions of said Municipal Organization Act of

7. That the tax revenues subject to negotiations
accruing to the City of Fullerton for that territory within the
jurisdiction of the ~ity of Fullerton shall be allocated in total
to the City of Anahe~m in accordance with the historical
allocation of such f~nds within the City of Anaheim, as determined
by the County Audito~.
BE IT FURTH~R RESOLVED that a plan for providing services
within the affected territory of said municipal reorganization is
submitted to the Lockl Agency Formation Commission with this
resolution pursuant ~o the requirement of Section 35102 of the
Government Code.
BE IT FURTH~R RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to file a c~rtified copy of this resolution with the
Executive Officer of! the Local Agency Formation Commission.
BE IT FURTH~ RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
approves a negative ~eclaration for the aforesaid project pur-
suant to the provisi~ns of the California Environ~entalQuality
Act upon finding tha~ the City Council has considered the proposed
negative declaration. together with any comments received during
the public review process and further finding on the basis of the
initial study and any comments received that there is no
substantial evidencei that the project will have a significant
effect upon the environment.
THE FOREGOI~G RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the ~ity of Anaheim this 14th day of August, 1984.
