same to the City Cou pil~ and
WHEREAS, t~~ City Council finds that said detailed
designs, plans, prof.~es, dra~... ings and specifications for said
public improvement a . ve ment~oned, are in accordance with good
engineering practice land are ~dequate to serve the needs and
requirements of the pli ty of Anaheim and the citizens and residents
in said area for the~purposes for which they are intended, and that
they are adequate fo I the construction of said public improvement
and should be approv~.

NOW, THERE~$RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that 1 the detailed designs, plans, profiles,

mentioned and descri,d be, a~d the same are hereby, approved and
ad~pted as prepared :y said Public Works Department. .

BE IT FURT*tR RESOLVED that said public iaprovement shall
be constructed in ac~rdance with said detailed designsi plans,
profiles, drawings a~ speciftcations as prepared by said Public
Works Department and! ,ereby a,proved, and such addenda or
modifications theret~:as may ~e approved prior to the awarding of
bids therefor.

BE IT FURT ~R RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim be, and she . hereby, authorized and directed to publish a
notice according to *w, invi~ing sealed proposals for the
furnishing of all pI *t, labo~, services, materials and equipment,
and all utilities an jtranspottation, including power, fuel and
water, and performin !all wor~ necessary to cons~ru~t and complete,
in a good and workma like man~er, in strict accordance, with said
detailed designs, pI ~s, profiles, drawings andspe~ifications as
prepared by said Pub ic Works Department, the public improvements
hereinabove mentione and des~ribed, and fixing the 6th day of
September, 1984, at ~e hour Cl>f 2:00 o'clock P.M. as the date and
hour for the opening,~f said ~ids at the City Council Chamber in
the City Hall in the!City of Anaheim, and that said notice shall be
published twice, theitirst of which publications shall be at least
ten (10) days prior ~o the date fixed for the opening of bids, and
that said publicatio.. shall ~e at least five (5) days apart.

BE IT FURTttR RESOLVED that the successful bidder or

City of Anaheim for he construction, installation and completion

resolution and all afPlicable City Ordinances or Code Sections and
the laws of the Stat. of California, and shall be required to post
bonds and insurance !n the amounts and within the time required by

form approved by theiCity Attorney.
