A RESOLUTII'.N. OF THE... CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MAP
AND TEXT 0 THE LAND USE ELEMENT AND
REDEVELOPM NT ELEME~T OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL
PLAN DESIG ATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 193, EXHIBIT
"A. II
WHEREAS, t~e City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recom-
mendations of the PI nning Co~mission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General PI n for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, o~ the 11th day of June, 1984, the City
Planning Commission if the City of Anaheim did hold a public hear-
ing to consider a Ge eral Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consi er changing the land use designation for the
area of land consist ng of approximately 2.8 acres described as
follows: .
Portion A -
0.9 acres (City initiated) located south of
the Riverside Freeway and approximately 1000
feet east of the centerline of Glassell
Street; and
Portion B -
1.9 acres (property owner initiated) located
south of the Riverside Freeway and
approximately 2000 feet east of the
centerline of Glassell Street.
AND WHERE~' said General Plan Amendment does further
consider an amend men of the Land Use Element and Redevelopment
Element of said Gene al Plan; and
WHEREAS, a~ said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did dUlY~.. dopt its Resolution No. PC84-104 containing a
report of its findins, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and re ommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as endment No. 193 be adopted by the City
Council changing thelland use designation for the aforedescribed
areas to "General Ink1ustrial" in accordance with Exhibit "A" and
amending the text ofl the Land Use Element and Redevelopment
Element in the manne~ hereinafter set forth; and

WHEREAS, uPon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of !findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission,! the City Council did fix the 31st day of
July, 1984, as the tlime, and the City Council Chamber in the Civic
Center as the place Ifor a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 193 aqd did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and

WHEREAS, t~e City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and ~id give all persons interested therein an op-
portunity to be hea~, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the re~mmendations of the City Planning Commission;
and '
~ WHEREAS, t/he City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 193 Ci.nging the land use designation in the afore-
described area in a cordance with Exhibit "A" on file with the
City and amending t text of the Land Use Element and
Redevelopment Eleme~t should be approved.
NOW, THE~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim ,that Amendment No. 193 to the General Plan

BE IT FURtHER RESO~VED that the text of the Land Use
Element and Redevel . ment Element of the General Plan be, and the
same are hereby, re pectively amended by the addition of the fol-
lowing provision th~reto:
"TheA licabi t of R develo ment Plan. The Land
Use E enent of .he Anahe m General Plan designates the
proposed gener~.l distribution and general location and
extent of publ~c and private uses of land. Certain
property subjeqt to the provisions of the Anaheim
General Plan ij now, or may hereafter be, included
within a redev lopment project area pursuarit toa
Redevelopment.lan ("Plan") adopted by ordinance of
the City of An heim and subject to the interim land
use limitation set forth in said Plan. Notwithstand-
ing any otherw~se applicable land use designation in
the Anaheim Ge~eral Plan, any interim use of land
within any red velopment project area shall comply
with the land se limitations set forth in said appli-
cable Plan unt .l such time as said Plan expires or is
amended to con.orm to the otherwise applicable land
use limitationd set forth in the Anaheim General Plan."
BE IT FUR1HER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, i4structed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 193 as herein adopted and
approved.
