A RESOLUTIO OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING
NOTICE OF T HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY,
NOVEMBER 6, 1984 FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN
OFFICERS OF aAID CITY AS REQUIRED BY THE
PROVISIONS f' THE CHARTER, AND REQUESTING THE
BOARD OF SU kRVISORS TO CONSOLIDATE SAID
GENERAL MU CIPAL ELECTION WITH THE STATEWIDE
GENERAL ELE rION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 6,
1984.
WHEREAS, un er the provisions of the Charter of the City of
Anaheim, California, a ~gular general municipal election shall be held
on November 6, 1984, fo the election of two (2) Members of the City
Council of said City fo the full term of four years, and a Mayor of said
City for the full term f two years; and
WHEREAS, th Statewide General Election will be held on said
date;

NOW, THEREFbrm, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY! RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.1 That pursuant to the requirements of the Charter
of the City of Anaheim, California, there shall be, and there is hereby
called and ordered, hel in said City on Tuesday, November 6, 1984, a
regular municipal elect on of the qualified electors of said City for the
purpose of electing two (2) Members of the City Council of said City for
the full term of four y ars, and a Mayor of said City for the full term
of two years.
SECTION 2. I That pursuant to the provisions of Section 23302
of the Elections Code t the State of California, the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, does reby request the board of Supervisors of the
County of Orange to co olidate the General Municipal Election of the
City of Anaheim with t. Statewide General Election to be held November
6, 1984. 1

SECTION 3. .~! That the polls for said election shall be open at
seven o'clock a.m. of t e day of said election and shall remain open
continuously from said .ime until eight o'clock p.m. of the same day when
said polls shall be clo~ed, except as provided in Section 14301 of the
Elections Code of the ~ete of California.
