RESOLUTION NO. 78R-564
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.

WHEREAS, (the Ci tyCouncil of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed ~ursuant 'to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements fVlacation taw (Section. 50430 etseq. Government
Code) in connection iwith the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; ~nd
WHEREAS, }tl,he City "Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give: inotice olf its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public! service easement (hereinafter "Easement"),
to wit:
That certain ~blic uti;lity easement 20 feet wide and
that certain $jsement fur sanitary sewer line, 20 feet
wide, reservedl'unto the City of Anaheim lying within
the abandoned airea of Said Old Santa Ana Canyon Road
described astJ1e north$:'ly 20 feet of said vacated
area and the .sterly 20 .feet of Lot 8 and the north-
erly prolongat~on ther~of in Tract 936, as per map
thereof recor~d in Boak 30, pages 1 and 2, Miscellan-
eous Maps, recqrds of said Orange County, lying within
that portion ()(f Santa .Ana Canyon Road, in the City of
Anaheim, CountlY of Orange, State of California, .as
vacated per Resolution No. 74R-155 of the City Council
of said City df Anaheim recorded April 12, 1974 in
Book lll17,patge 1988, Official Records, described as
follows:

of said Orange .County, said point being the beginning
of a curve conoave northwesterly having a radius of

erly line of said Santa Ana Canyon Road, said point
being the beg!~ning of a non-tangent curve concave
northeasterly having a radius of 880.00 feet, a radial
line to said point bears S 240 57' 35" W; thence North-
westerly 40.30 feet along said curve through a central

feet to a point of cusp with a curve concave north-
westerly havi~g a radius of 30.00 reet; thence North-

WHEREAS, .on the 29th day of August, 1978, a public hear-
ing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence con-
cernlng said propo$ed abandonment; and
~
WHEREAS, ,the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evld$nce submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THER!:FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheilt does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE I'i ,FURTHER RESOLVED that the City C_lerkbe,and
she is hereby, aut1t~rized a~d directed to cause a certifi~d copy
of this Resolutioni.nd OrdeJ;",attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anahei~'to be rEtcorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange CO\iUlty, California.
