RESOLUTION NO. 78R-567
A RESOLU'Jt!ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE~M ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.

WHEREAS, .,the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceediJ>ursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easementst'acation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government
Code) in connectiortwith the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; a.nd
WHEREAS, .the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, givtt'notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described publ:lc service easement (hereinafter "Easement"),
to wit:
That certain >>.blic utility easement located in the
City of Anahe:t$, County of Orange, State of California,
described in 4~ed reco~ded May 28 , 1953 in Book 2511 , ,
page 252, O.R~ located south of Ora~ge Avenue,approxi-
mately 400 feEtt, west of Knott Avenue, described as
follows:

That certain i<.!lrtion ot the Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quater of the Southeast quarter of Section
15, Township ,South, Range 11 West, S.B.B. & M. de-
scribed in a deed to Loran C. Adams,et ux, ,recorded
May 2, 1946 it? Book 14()2, page 498, Official Records.
Excepting theJt~from the north 197 feet of the east
180 feet of said Northeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of th~ Southea$t quarter of said Section 15,
and also, exc~pting the south 330 feet thereof.
All poles sha~+ be erected and maintained within two
feet of the fc)110wing d.escribed line:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said north 197
feet of theeci$t 180 feet; thence Southerly along the
west line of $aid east 180 feet of the southwest cor-
ner of said n~rth 197 feet of the east l80feetj
thence Wester+:y parallel with the north line of said
Northeast qua~ter of the Northeast quarter of the
Southeast quatter of said Section 15 to a point in
the west line {)f said property of the grantor; and
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of August, 197,8, .a public hear-
ing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence con-
cerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS,. the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidtnce submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for pres*nt or prospective pUblic use.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, autijorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution~nd Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City -of Anaheint to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
