RESOLUTION NO. 78R- 570
A RESOLUTI OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGRE NT WITR DEPARTMENT OF WATER AND
POWER OF T CITY OF LOS ANGELES, ET AL, AND
AUTHORIZIN AND DI~CTING THE UTILITIES DIRECTOR
TO EXECUTE .SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, t~e City of Anaheim desires to participate- in
a preliminary feasi l.ility study of a coal-fired electric
generating plant; a:d .
WHEREAS, a~ agreement, entitled "White Pine Project -
Memorandum of Agreetrient" (hereinafter "Agreement:') has been
prepared; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of Agreement are
acceptable to the C~ty Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THE~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said ~greement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FUR~R RESOLVED that the Utilities' Director
be, and he is here~, authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement on behalflof the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGQING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Councilor the City of Anaheim this 29th day of
August, 1978.
