A RESOL . tON OF T'E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE ~ APPROVtNG THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHE OF THE TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
ANAHEIM LLSNO. 26 ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, .said Locf1 Agency Formation Commission
authorized the Citi ....Of Anah~im to annex said territory with-
out notice and hea ing and without an election pursuant to
the authority vest a in sai~ Commission by Section 54797.1
of the Government ode; and
WHEREAS, .$aid territory proposed to be annexed to .
said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange,
State of Ca1iforni*, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim,
and is uninhabitediterritory. That said consent contained a
description of sai4 territory in words and figures as herein-
after in this resotution described; and
WHEREAS, . the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to appr~ve said ,nnexation by resolution without
notice and hear ingi pursuant to the approval of said Local
Agency Formation C~mmission and Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code.
NOW, THEtEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Ana~eim finds:
That the,City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory
to the Local AgenctFormati~n Commission that all of the owners
of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given
their signed conse*t to suc~ annexation. That said territory
proposed to be ann+xed to said City of Anaheim is situated in
the County of oran*. e, State of California, and is contiguous
to the City.of Ana~eim, and is uninhabited territory. That
said consent signe.by all of the owners of land within the ter-
ritory proposed to be annexed contained a description of said
territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this resolu-
tion described.

That therCity of ~naheim filed said request to annex
said territory, co*taining the specific boundaries of the ter-
ritory to be annextd, with the Local Agency Formation Commis-
sion and said Loca. Agency Formation Commission approved said
annexation request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section
54797.1 of the Gov~rnment Code.
That on t:he 13th day of . September . .. , 1978 ,
the Local Agency F~rmat1on Commission duly ,adopted ResoIUtI"on
No. 78-162 in wh~ch said Commission authorized the City of
Anaheim to annex $aid territory in accordance with Section
54797.1 of the Gov~rnment Code and further approved such
annexation of said'territory without notice or hearing.

That the Local Agency Formation Commission further
by resolution, aut~orized the City Council of the City of
Anaheim to annex s~id territory without notice or hearing by
the City Council apd without the requirement that an election
be held by the Cit~ on the question of said annexation. .

That certain marcel o~ land in the County of Orange,
State of Calitfornia described as follows:
Beginning at ~n angle point in the existing city limit
line of the ~ty of Anaheim as established in the .
Anaheim Hill~No. 18 Annexation to the City of Anaheim,
said point b~.ing the westerly terminus of that certain
course descr .. .ed there...in as "East 540.00 feet"; thence
along the ex.ting boundary line of the City of Anaheim
as created b ,Annexation No. 18 and by Parcell of Annex-
ation No. 21 through its various courses in a general
easterly and northeasterly direction along 'the boundary
of said No. l~ Annexation and in an easterly direction
along said NOi. 21 Annexation to a point on that certain
course descriJ:>ed as "South 000 33' 46" East 1341 feet"
in the bound~ of said Anaheim Hills No. 18 Annexation;
thence leavin~ said Anaheim Hills No. 21 boundary and
along said ~heim Hills No. 18 boundary South 000 33'
46" East 711 feet more or less to an angle point in the
boundary of sJiid No. 18 Annexation, said angle point
also being an, angle point in the northwesterly line of
Parcel 1 of the right of way easement to Southern Cali-
fornia Edison, Company as described in deed recorded
December 23, ~968 in Book 8824, page 19, official records,
said point being the northeasterly terminus of the course
described thet-ein as "North 720 24' 27" East 1176.50
feet"; thence leaving the boundary of said Annexation
No. 18 and along said northwesterly line South 720 24'
30" West 1176.69 feet and South 720 26' 42" West 658
feet; thence leaving said northwesterly line North 840.
47' 13" West ~09.75 feet to the southeasterly prolongation
of that certaf-n course described as "South 390 49' 00"
East 755 feet I' in the boundary of said Anaheim Hills No. 18
Annexation; thence along said prolongation North 390 49'
00" West 330 feet more or less to the point of beginning.

is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to nnd
incorporated in th~ City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, and is, hereby designated as the ANAHEIM
HILLS NO. 26 ~TION . to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FU~HER RESOLVED that from and after the date of
the adoption of th~$ resolution and the filing of a certified
copy thereof with the Secre~ary of State of the State of Califor-
nia, the annexatio~ of the territory herein described shall be
deemed to be and shall be complete and thenceforth such annexed
territory shall be, to all intents and purposes, a part of the
City of Anaheim, and from and after the effective date of such
annexation, all prpperty therein shall be subject to taxation
equally with the ptpperty within the City of Anaheim and shall
be taxed to pay-it~ proportlionate share of the existing indebted-
ness and liabilitY'of said City of Anaheim contracted prior to or
existing at the ti*'e of such annexation pursuant to the written
consent of the own.rs of prbperty in said annexed territory filed
with the Clerk of the City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of
this resolution.
