THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAUIM AMEm>ING THE RATES, RULES AND REGULAt~ONS FOR THE SALE AND DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRtC ENERGY AS ADOPTED BY CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 71R-478 AND AMENDED BY CITY COUNCIL RESOLUT[ON NOS. 73R-25, 73R-373, 73R-531~ 74R-75, 74R-630, 75R-243, 75R-344, 75R-345~ 76R-4l~ 76R-377, 76R-528, 76R-8l7, 77R-46~ AND 77R~628. WHEREA~I' the Ci~y of Anaheim maintains an electric distribution sys~em for tne furnishing of electricity to residents and inhkbitants of the City of Anaheim and has adopted E1ectricC~tes, R~les and Regulations for the sale and distribution of e1ect~ic energy; and WHEREAS!, the Public Uti+i ties Board of the City of Anaheim has rec~ended revisionsito Rule Nos. 2, 13 and 14 of said Electric Rates, Rhles, and Regulations in order to clarify the interpretatiOh~and application of said Rules. The City wi:~l not be liable for interruption or shortage of supply, nor for ~ny. loss or damage' occasioned thereby. 3. APPORTIONMENT OF SUPPLY DURING TIME OF SHORTAGE The City, w.,never it shall find it necessary 'for the pur- pose of makttt, g repairs or improvements to its system, will have the ri*ht to sUJpend temporarily the delivery of electricity. In all cases, as reasonable notice thereof as circumst.,nces wi11 permit will be given .to the customer, and the mak~ng of su~h repairs or improvements will be . prosecuted .$ rapidly as may be practicable and, if practic- able, at sudh times as will cause the least inconvenience to its customeJl'$. When it is l1,cessary. to suspend temporarily the delivery of electricity 'tor r-epa!rs or improvements to the system in accordance "'~th Paragraph B-1 above, and the customer requests th~1i such s~spension of service occur at "other than normal City Working hours, the customer shall pay in advance, the total estimated labor related costs incurred by the City for performtng the work during non-regular City work hours. Should a shortage of sUPPlY ever occur, the City will apportion " its available supply of e1ectricity among its customers as author- ized or directed by the Utilities Director in the manner that appears to him most equitable under conditions then prevailing.
