ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ESTABLISHI~G RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR
ENTED JOB CLASSES AND SUPERSEDING
ON NO. 77R-707 AND AMENDMENTS THERETO.
WHEREAS, rates ~f compensation for represented general, clerical
and utility classes will ~e adjusted October 13, 1978, and
WHEREAS, as a~SUlt thereof, the need exists to adjust rates
of compensation for relat d unrepresented job classes by superseding
Resolution No. 77R-707 amendments thereto, and
,
WHEREAS, the Ci~y Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adjusting these rates of fompensation is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim. j

The letter "u" prece ng a schedule number indicates that employees
up-graded to that job cl s shall be paid premium pay as provided in
Personnel Rule 6.41, Pre um Pay. The letter "s" preceding a schedule
number indicates that emp oyees in that job class shall be eligible for
consideration for merit p y increases as provided in Personnel Rule 4.17,
Appropriate Salary Step.~. The letter "J" preceding a schedule number indi-
cates that employees wor ng in that job class may be paid a rate of 5%
below the "A" step of the salary schedule for that job class, as provided
in Personnel Rule 4.42, propriate Salary Step.

The regular hourly ~.' te or pay and overtime compensation for employees
working in job classes Ii ted in Section I of this resolution shall be
computed as provided in P rsonnel Rule 5, Hours of Work and Pay Day, and
Personnel Rule 6, Premiu Pay.
Section 4.

The provisions of th~s resolution shall supersede Resolution No. 77R-707
and amendments thereto. !
