Anaheim, con~tsting ot renovation to the existing park
irrigation s.tem inc~uding, but not limited to, new
mainline inslillation, pump installation and construc-
tion of pump t~ouse addition and all appurtenant work in
accordance W~1.h the p~ans and delineated in the speci-
fications on:jile in the Office of the City Engineer,
Account No. ]6-807-7103-00003.

tions for the consiruction ~f said public improvement and has
submitted the sameito the City Council; ~~d
WHEREAS, :the City Council finds that said detailed
designs, plans, pr~files, dtawings and specifications for said
public improvementi_bove me~tioned, are in accordance with good
engineering practi4+ and ar~ adequate to serve the needs and
requirements of th~:City of Anaheim and the citizens and
residents in said ~tea for the purposes for which they are
intended, and, that !~hey are adequate for the construction of
said pUblic improv~Jttent and should be approved.
NOW, THE~~FORE, Ba IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahei~,that th~ detailed designs, plans, profiles,
drawings and speci~~cationsfor said pUblic improvement herein-
above mentioned anq:describ~d be, and the same are hereby
approved and adopt~4 as prepared by said Public Works
I)ep~rtment
AND BE I~jFURTHERRESOLVED that said pUblic improvement
shall be construct 4 in accqrdance with said detailed designs,
plans, profiles, d wings and specifications as prepared by said
b Wee t and hereby approved, and such
a en a or mo cons reto as may be approved prior to the
awarding of bids t~refor.
BE IT FU~HER RESqLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and i~he is hereby authorized and directed to
publish a notice a~,'Ording t~ law, inviting sealed proposals for
the furnishing of ~l plant, labor, services, materials and
equlpment, and all ~ti1ities and transportation, including power,
fuel and water, and! iperform1ng all work necessary to construct
and complete, in a ~ood and workmanlike manner, in strict
accordance with sai~ detailed designs, plans, profiles, drawings
and specifications ~s prepared by said Public Works

19~, at the hour 0 2:00 o'clock P.M. as he date and hour or
the opening of said! ~ids at the City Council Chamber in the City
Hall in the City of' Anaheim, and that said notice shall be
pUblished twice, tht!, first of which pUblications shall be at
least ten (10) days prior-to the date fixed for the opening of
bids, and that said' pUblications shall be at least five (5) days
apart.

AND BE IT'PURTHER RESOLVED that the successful bidder
or bidders shall bel, reqUired., to enter into a contract with the
City ot Anahelm in ~~e manne~ and form approved by the City
Attorney of the C1tt' of Anahtim for the construction, installa-
tion and co~letion! pf said pUb11c improvement hereinabove
mentioned and described, in accordance with the plans and

the notice invitim., '- sealed... proposals, this resolution and a. 11
applicable City 0 lnances or Code Sections and the laws of
the State of Cali 1 rnia, apd shall be required to post bonds
and insurance in~e amounts and within the time required by
law, as specified! ~n the notice inviting sealed proposals,
and in a form apprbved by the City Attorney.
